Early Summer Trail Guides Available at Kent Bog

With 90-degree days already here, now is the time to bring the family to the nature preserve before our crazy weather goes even more berserk. The June-July guide gives tips on what to look for. The Kent Bog State Nature Preserve is in south Kent on Meloy Road just west of S.R. 43. The boardwalk is a half-mile in length and is wheelchair accessible. Because parking is limited at the preserve, car pooling is recommended. PARTA’s Suburban Line also stops on Meloy Road across from the bog. For PARTA information, call 330/678-1287.
